SEG: VIA of the Lehigh Valley

Part of Our Continuing Series on our Select Employee Groups (SEGs)

Via of the Lehigh Valley is a non-profit human service agency that provides services for children and adults with developmental disabilities like autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and mental retardation.

Via's programs are for individuals and families from birth through retirement focusing in Children's Services, Community Connections and Employment.

The Via Thrift Boutique and Via Thrift Stores are value centers offer great value to customers while supporting a great cause. When you shop or donate to the Via Thrift Stores, you are helping children with disabilities.

In 1997 Lehigh Valley Association for Retarded Citizens (LARC) and local United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) organizations merged to form Via of the Lehigh Valley. LARC had been a Select Employee Group (SEG) since 1972 and UCP had been a SEG since 1978.

Via's Mission: "Via will provide leadership, support, opportunities and resources for people with disabilities so that they may be independent, productive and enjoy full lives within the community."
