E-Statements (Statement Express Online Account Statements)

Bethlehem Teachers Federal Credit Union is proud to offer a new service that is beneficial to our members and helps the environment as well.

Our new Statement Express E-statement service makes your credit union statement available for you to view on-line. That means there is no need to print and mail a paper statement to you. Easy for you, easy on the environment!

What Are E-Statements?

E-Statements are electronic copies of your account statements that you can view online. You will find the electronic format to be very similar to our paper statements. You may still print any of the most recent 12 statements out if you have the need.

Statement Express E-Statements are:

Fast—E-Statements Online statements are generally available by the second day of the month—as compared to statements by mail that can take up to ten days to be delivered.
Safe—Paper statements are a frequent target in identity theft. E-Statements offer safe access from within Virtual Branch online banking.
Convenient—With E-Statements, you'll enjoy access to your last 12 online statements. No need to file away paper statements. We store them for you online.
Secure—Access your E-Statements using a secure account log in through The Virtual Branch On-Line
Better for the Planet—No trees will be harmed in the distribution of your online statement. Instead, you’ll enjoy easy point-and-click access to your last 12 online statements—paper free!

Enrolling in Statement Express E-Statements is Simple

If you’re already a Virtual Branch online banking user, simply log on and go to the Self Service tab. From there, select Statement Express from the Additional Services area and complete the very short enrollment application.
If you’re not yet a Virtual Branch online banking user, you can enroll in this free service at the Credit Union or click here for a Virtual Branch application that you can fill out online, print out, sign and bring to the BTFCU office.

Who is Eligible for E-Statements?

All members are eligible for the Statement Express E-Statements Service, however, you must be enrolled in Virtual Branch On Line Banking in order to receive E-Statements.

How Do I Access My E-Statements Once Ive Signed Up

At the beginning of the month, you’ll receive an e-mail to let you know that your latest E-Statement is available.
Access your E-Statements by logging in to your account at Virtual Branch Online Banking.
Click on the "Self Service" tab.
Choose "Statement Express" on the menu under "Additional Services".
You will be taken to a screen that allows you to choose which account statement to view.

E-Statements are generally available within 48 hours of the first day of the month. Using E-Statements allows to view your statement earlier than if you received a paper statement.

Is there a cost for E-Statements?

No, E-Statements and Virtual Branch are available to members free of charge.

Will I still receive a paper copy of my statement in the mail?

Once you sign up for Statement Express E-Statements you will no longer receive paper statements.

Can I download and save my E-Statement?

Yes, you can. Statement Express E-Statements are available online for 12 months, but you can keep them longer by downloading them to your hard drive or USB thumb drive. Click here for instructions.
