You may have heard of “Heartbleed Bug”, which was recently discovered by security researchers. Heartbleed is a flaw in OpenSSL, an open-source encryption technology.
It is important to note that BTFCU servers DO NOT use OpenSSL and are not vulnerable to the virus.
We are communicating with our business partners to assure their systems are protected as well. We are committed to providing you the highest security possible to safeguard your information.
We strongly advise all members to take precautions to protect themselves using the following tips:
